Seen by God
Still Known, Still Valued by God
For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love… — Hebrews 6:10
It is not always easy to be unnoticed. I learned a great deal about recognition while leading teams in my work. You may not always be able to reward someone for everything they do, but you can certainly recognize them for their efforts. A simple acknowledgment can change someone’s entire day.
It can be so easy to overlook the little things. Yet noticing those little things can be extremely impactful.
In our spiritual lives, there are many moments that go unseen. Quiet acts of service. Private prayers. Choosing patience when no one else would know the difference. Remaining faithful when no one applauds. These are the small, steady expressions of faith that rarely draw attention.
And sometimes, that can be discouraging.
We are not wrong to appreciate encouragement. God created us to live in community, and affirmation strengthens us. But Scripture reminds us of something deeply comforting: God does not overlook what others may miss. He is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love.
Every unseen sacrifice. Every act of obedience. Every moment of faithfulness in a hidden place. None of it escapes His notice.
Faithfulness is not measured by visibility. It is measured by sincerity. The world may overlook what is small or quiet, but God sees the heart behind it. And what He sees, He values.
If you have been serving quietly, loving faithfully, or enduring patiently without recognition, take heart. Your faith matters. Not because it is noticed by others, but because it is seen by God.
